The Huntsville Lady Hornets earned another district victory on January 30, 2026, defeating Brenham 61–43 to continue their strong season.
Huntsville set the tempo early and maintained control throughout the game with balanced scoring and aggressive defense. Alyvviona Win led all scorers with a dominant performance, finishing with 26 points and 10 rebounds to anchor the Lady Hornets on both ends of the floor.
Jazlyn Hill contributed 13 points and 5 assists while effectively running the offense and creating scoring opportunities. Aariyah Willis made her presence felt defensively, grabbing 8 rebounds and recording 4 steals to help limit Brenham’s offensive chances.
The Lady Hornets’ defensive pressure and rebounding proved to be the difference as Huntsville pulled away in the second half to secure the win.
Huntsville will return to action on February 3, 2026, traveling to Montgomery for a 6:30 p.m. tip-off.
