The Huntsville Lady Hornets picked up a district win Tuesday night, defeating Lake Creek 60–39 to move to 7–1 on the season.

Huntsville controlled the game from the opening tip, setting the tone defensively and maintaining a steady offensive pace throughout. Oniyah led all scorers with 21 points and added 9 rebounds.

Aariyah Willis was strong on the glass, finishing with 11 rebounds and providing a consistent presence inside. Jazlyn Hill contributed 12 points and 7 assists while helping run the offense.

The Lady Hornets limited Lake Creek’s scoring opportunities with solid team defense and rebounding, allowing Huntsville to maintain control throughout the game.

Huntsville will return to action on January 27, 2026, traveling to College Station High School to face the lady cougars.
