Game 1 vs Robinson (L 8-2)
Duke led the way for the Hornets going 2 for 4 at the plate but the offense couldn’t keep up with the Rockets in a tough 8-2 loss.

Angelique Hernandez & Katie Vonrosenberg each helped out with 1 RBI a piece, but the momentum was on Robinson side.

Game 2 vs Grandview (W 14-3)
JJ Duke went 3 for 3 at the plate with a home run to help push the Hornet offense past the Zebras 14-3 in their final game on Thursday.

Huntsville got things started with the help of Chloe Sanders, Khloe Klawinsky, Rylie Hammond, Angelique Hernandez, and Jaz Enriquez each scoring 1 run in the bottom of the 1st inning.

Hammond earned the win surrendering 4 hits for 3 runs in 5 innings of work. Every Lady Hornet recorded a hit in the win and the Hornet was sure handed on defense even turning a 6-4-3 double play!

Huntsville is back at it tomorrow as they take on Keller Central & Waxahachie @ WHS.
