Several members of the Lady Hornet Volleyball program attended "World Reading Day" on Wednesday, February 7, 2024. World Reading Day was celebrated and hosted by all of our Elementary Campuses at Huntsville ISD. The Lady Hornets were able to visit 3 different elementary schools last week to read to our 4th graders. Our athletes researched and chose books that were on a 4th-grade reading level and read aloud to our younger Hornets. This is the second time the team has had the chance to give back through reading at our elementary campuses. Last year they were able to attend Stewart Elementary on Dr. Seuss Day.
