Game 1: vs. Cy-Lakes (W 15-0)
Huntsville defeated Cy-Lakes 15-0 on Friday thanks in part to a BIG first inning. Aariss McHale, Katie Vonrosenberg, Khlow Klawinsky, Rylie Hammond, Kadi Thorp, JJ Duke, Chloe Sanders, Kali Klawinsky, & Jaz Enriquez all recorded a hit in the first inning. The Hornets added another run thanks to Klawinsky to seal the 15-0 win in the second.

Hammond earned the win for Huntsville allowing three hits and zero runs over three innings of work. Sanders lead Huntsville at the plate as she went 3-3 with 1 RBI. Duke lead the scoring with 3 runs scored . The Lady Hornets showed patience at the plate drawing 8 walk and stole a matching 8 bases as well.

Game 2: vs. Sealy (W 1-0)
Both teams were strong in the circle but the Hornets came out with a 1-0 victory vs the Tigers. Senior JJ Duke started in the circle for Huntsville and recorded 18 outs on 12 strikeouts while only surrendering 3 hits on zero runs and no walks.

Katie Vonrosenberg recorded the lone RBI on the day in the top of the 3 inning as she hit a single to the right center gap scoring Duke. Vonrosenberg went 2 for 3 at the plate and did not commit a single error in the field with a team high 12 chances.
