Game 1: vs Spring (W 7-1)
Huntsville scored 6 runs in the first inning to help them defeat Spring 7-1 on Thursday. Scoring got started when Katie Vonrosenberg hit a sac fly scoring one run, Khlow Klawinsky drew a walk scoring another run, Kali Klawinsky doubled scoring 2 runs, and Jaz Enriquez hit a triple to score another run to propel the offense past the Lions.

JJ Duke earned the win in the circle for HUntsville. She surrendered 0 hits and 0 runs in 1 inning of work while striking out 2. Rylie Hammond came in for 5 innings of relief allowing only 1 run and striking out 1.

Huntsville hit the ball well against the Lions. Klawinsky, Vonrosenberg, Enriquez, and Aariss McHale all collected 2 hits for Huntsville. Klawinsky & Vonrosenberg each had 2 RBIs while Chloe Sanders stole 2 bases. Huntsville was sure handed in the field as well and did not commit a single error.

Game 2: vs #2Katy (L 3-7)
Huntsville couldn't keep up to pace with the Lady Tigers as they fall 7-3 in game 2 Thursday. Katie Vonrosenberg got Huntsville on the board in the first as she doubled scoring 1 run to lead off the game. However, Katy answered back quickly in the bottom of the first.

Huntsville tied it up again in the top of the 2nd thanks to a single by JJ Duke and a costly error by the Katy defense but in the bottom of the second the Tigers broke up the tie. Duke took the loss in the circle for the Hornets. The righty went 4 innings striking out 1 and allowing no free passes.

Duke also lead Huntsville at the plate going 2-3 in her 3 ABs and Huntsville was sure handed in the field and did not commit a single error on defense.
