The Lady Hornet Volleyball team took 3rd place at the Hudson Varsity Volleyball Tournament on Friday and Saturday. The Hornets only lost 2 sets during the tournament. The Huntsville offense was led by junior setter, Lizzie Balette, who had 113 assists and 15 aces on the weekend. Annabelle Murra, senior, had 42 kills, 14 aces, and 12 blocks. Karissa Brinkley, sophomore, had 35 kills and 16 aces. Defensively, the Hornets were led by Junior, Sydney Pascal, who finished the tournament with 11 aces and 47 digs.

The Lady Hornet JV team finished 4th in the Silver Bracket, competing in the same varsity tournament. The JV squad was led offensively by Mikaela Moynahan and Jordan Bolding. Mia Sirianna had a productive day on Saturday helping the Hornets to finish strong against varsity opponents. All three teams will travel to Madisonville on Tuesday, September 1. Freshman and JV will play at 5:00 PM with the varsity match to follow.
