The Lady Hornets dropped a close district contest Friday night, falling 44–42 on the road to A&M Consolidated.
Alyvionia Winn led the Lady Hornets offensively with 12 points, consistently finding scoring opportunities throughout the game. Oniyah Ledet was dominant on the glass, pulling down a team-high 12 rebounds and providing a strong inside presence. Jazlyn Hill finished with 7 points, and Aariyah Willis added 7 points of her own as the Lady Hornets spread the scoring across the lineup.
The game remained competitive from start to finish, with both teams trading baskets and possessions. While the Lady Hornets had chances late, the final score did not fall in their favor.
The Lady Hornets will be back on the road on January 20, 2026 traveling to Rudder for a district game scheduled for 6:30 PM.
