Welcome, Coach Lauren Hayes!

The Huntsville High School Athletic Department is proud to welcome Coach Lauren Hayes as our district’s new Head Cheerleading Coach. As a familiar face, Coach Hayes comes to us from Scott Johnson Elementary where she is currently teaching 3rd grade. Miss Hayes was HISD’s “New Teacher of the Year” for the 2023-2024 School year. As a cheer coach, she is currently the All-Star Cheer Director at Cheer Factory in Cypress, Tx. She has choreographed several UIL, Competition and pep-rally routines. Coach Hayes has assisted in coaching and choreographing 2 NCA winning routines, won ACA twice and Cheer Power Nationals three times. Miss Hayes believes, “As coaches, we aren’t just coaching athletes to be their best but teaching them life lessons along the way.”
