The Lady Hornet Soccer team took down the Lufkin Lady Panthers in their district opener Tuesday night.

The Lady Hornets were able to pull off the 2-0 win with help from Bianca Ballbuena who had to step in the box last minute. Ballbuena was able to keep the Lady Panthers from scoring with several heart stopping saves. Scoring for the Hornets was Alondra Huerta and Valary Perla who were both assisted by Brianna Torres.
